This note essentially discusses various elements of market led microfinance services. It focuses on vision and mission of the MFI, involvement of the Board in maintaining mission and vision, focus on customers, competent staff, congruence between different departments, and awareness of executive about existing competition. It also suggests to retain customer focus staff through investing in them, maintaining customer focus in all its departments and at every level, strong back office which can help in continuous product and process improvements.
