Alphina Jos completed her B. Tech (Information Technology) MBA from VIT University, Vellore. In VIT she was the coordinator in centre for sustainable rural development and research studies and worked actively with SHGs and rural development agencies like NABARD, DRDA, DIC, MSME and TNWD with special focus on Project YSPARK, a Government & VIT, endeavour that focused on building micro entrepreneurs.
She completed her internship in Bullock-cart Workers Development Association (BWDA) and BWDA Finance Limited, Tamil Nadu analysing the operations and supporting IT infrastructure. She also worked at Precision Techonet, Chennai as an ERP Analyst.
At Microsave, Alphina is working on a variety of market research assignments across India to examine the use of e-/m-banking services and poor people's willingness to pay for these. Her areas of interest include market research, strategic business planning, MIS, human resources management, product development and process mapping.
