Angela Wambugu is a financial systems consultant with MicroSave and is a MicroSave Recommended Service Provider. She has close to 10 years experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining MicroSave in 2005, Angela worked with two commercial banks in Kenya and with J. M. Mantle, a consulting firm engaged in business advisory and specialist microfinance consulting and training services.
Angela is experienced in financial product development and strategic marketing including marketing research, corporate branding strategy, product marketing strategy and customer service strategy. She has gained extensive experience and exposure in these areas training and providing technical assistance to MFIs and retail banks in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, Ghana and Sierra Leone.
Angela holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and is currently preparing her dissertation for an MBA degree with a bias in Strategic Management.
