What is Applied Microfinance Institute (AMI):

The Applied Microfinance Institute (AMI) is a training platform with focus on developing practical skills that can be immediately applied by participants. Using the MicroSave toolkits as the core curriculum, AMI provides you the opportunity to develop and internalise applicable and actionable skills that can make a significant difference to you and your institution. This is coupled with the opportunity to interact with industry experts during plenary and network with many other participants from various financial insitiutions.

When:

Dates for 2010 AMI India 2010 are July 12-16, 2010.

Where:

Hotel Clarks Awadh, Lucknow

Courses in AMI:

Based on the feedback received from the AMI alumni, the training has been redesigned in 2010. The two week programme is now split into two one week sessions, to be delivered over at different times of the year. This is because we recognise the limitations of the senior management having to be out of office for two weeks at a stretch. To accommodate the demand for more time for participant networking of choice, evening plenary sessions have been kept open.  The courses designed for AMI India 2010 are:

· Internal Audit and Controls

· Process Mapping

Who Should Come:

AMI is for middle and senior-level managers of Indian microfinance institutions and consultants/trainers. The training is designed to be high-pressure and to allow participants to return home equipped with new, practical knowledge and tools to apply in their institutions.
